La Befana is a character in Italian folklore who delivers presents to children throughout Italy, in a similar way to Saint Nicholas or Santa Claus. The character may have originated in Rome, then spread as a tradition to the rest of Italy.

Google Logo Christmas Series

Looks like Google was actually trying to tell a story with their logos. They added one more logo each day from 21th to 25th.

The letters are difficult to see but its true that Google doesn't really need their letters to be legible since the colors are so recognizable.
